Who We Are
In 1960 Waypoint Church began our ministry in the Clarkston area and beyond. Over the years we have grown and changed in many ways but many of our core tenets have remained the same.
We are a Free Methodist Church. Which means that we believe in One living God in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We believe in the authority of God’s word over our lives. We believe humankind are created in the image of God as free moral persons. We believe that new life in Christ free from the guilt and penalty of sin, is given to all who believe. We are a very missions oriented church, we donate 10% of our annual tithes and offerings received to our missions partners both in our neighborhoods and around the world. For more information check out our giving page.
