West End Terminus of the Ballona Creek Bike Path
City of Los Angeles (Marina del Rey) - The West end of this seven mile bike path abruptly ends on the Marina del Rey Channel South Jetty. Among the local bikers and skaters, there is mixed opinions about the safety of this bike path because of some neighborhoods that borders the path. I suggest never bike or skate solo East of Lincoln Blvd, especially at night on this path.

Marina del Rey Dock 52 - Parking lot
City of Los Angeles (Marina del Rey) - Dock 52 is the dock where the charters, 1/2-day day fishing , and whale watching boats pickup/dropoff passingers. Located less than a 1/4 mile East of Fisherman's Village, this city owned parking lot offers free parking. The kicker is, they are not responsible for paint overspray damage to your vehicle from the the boat yard (www.the-boatyard.com/) locate next to and up wind of the parking lot. Other than that I use this lot all year round when we go rollerblading or bike riding in the marina/beach area.
