Point Vicente Lighthouse / Coast Guard Station
City of Ranchos Palos Verdes - This lighthouse has been in service since 1926. In 1933 it was turned over to the Coast Guard, and in 1942 radio distress signal monitoring capability was added on the site. Locate less than a 1/2 mile South of the Hawthorne Blvd terminus, this landmark has appeared in many TV shows and movies over the years.
