City of Los Angeles (Down Town) - This controversial and recently opened Catholic Church is awesome!!! We spent over an hour self-touring the church, and exploring the mausoleum beneath the Cathedral. If you are visiting the Down Town Los Angeles area, please put the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels on your must see list. Located on Temple Street across the street from the County Hall of Administration and between Grand Ave, and Hill Street. GPS taken in middle of plaza.

Self-Realization Fellowship - Lake Shrine - Plaza
City of LosAngeles (Pacific Palisades) - See the website. We spent over an hour self-touring (and waypointing) this 10-arce spiritual sanctuary and I can't come up with words to describe the serenity and beauty of this spiritualy touching place. The Lake Shrine is located a quarter-mile inland from PCH on Sunset Blvd. GPS taken in the temple's courtyard at the top of the hill.
